BEAT takes place during raves and in clubs. It looks at the experience of rave, and it's goal of achieving catharsis, through dualities such as control/chaos, together/apart, same/different and stillness/movement. Through involving the dance with communal experiences of trance, the piece aims to become something that merges choreography with the contemporary social dance.
